Touching the Jaguar - Transforming Fear into Positive Action (Bahamas)

Touching the Jaguar - Transforming Fear into Positive Action (Sivananda Bahamas)

A destination event with John Perkins and Sivananda Bahamas.

February 9th, 2023 — February 11th, 2023

While living with hunter-gatherers deep in the Amazon rainforest, John Perkins was told by shamans that in order to positively transform the modern world must “touch the jaguar” in order to stop global destruction. We know we must change, yet we fear change; a jaguar stands on the “bridge of our perceptions,” scaring us away from crossing out of old, destructive paradigms into new, more constructive ones.

Shamans, like psychotherapists, quantum physicists, and advertising executives, understand that we change reality by altering our mindsets, our dreams — our perceptions. When you “touch the jaguar,” you confront your fears and channel them into perceptions that can alter reality in positive ways.

In his presentations, John will highlight sections from his two latest books, Touching the Jaguar (2020) and Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, 3rd Edition (2023). The former includes a process we can use to cross the perception bridge and transform our fears – both personally and collectively. The latter describes the ways China has learned from the mistakes and successes of the US and goes on to present a plan for a global effort to end climate change and the other crises we currently face. John’s story is one of hope, an affirmation that by changing perceptions, we can transform our individual lives and turn a “Death Economy” into a “Life Economy” — we can create a new reality for what it means to be human on this planet.

This event is offered as three satsangs (talks) and two afternoon experiential workshops (subject to change).
