Dreaming A New World - Indigenous Shaman Meets Economic Hit Man

In preparing for my session Dreaming a New World: Indigenous Shaman Meets Economic Hit Man at the Spring of Sustainability Summit on Wednesday April 4,  3-3:30 pm ET hosted by Julia Butterfly Hill, I’ve been mulling over the following:This is the  era of prophesies. Ancient cultures around the planet foresaw this as a time  to dream and manifest a sustainable and just world for all sentient beings.From a shamanic perspective, shapeshifting begins with a dream, an intent. You then give it energy if you want it to truly occur in this world. Action follows. Intent, energy and action: Only when these three human forces are in place can we have true shapeshifting. The shamans believe we are one with everything, including the mountains, the plants, and the animals. Therefore if we are to support the idea of true peace, we must look at a much bigger concept than human existence.
